According to Xinhua news agency, US President Trump signed the space policy directive 11,
announcing that the American astronauts will return to the moon and eventually go to Mars.

According to overseas Bloomberg December 12th report, Trump will instruct the US astronautics
Agency (NASA) to return the American astronauts to the moon on Monday, and finally go to
Mars, and shift the mission of the agency from the earth research to the long-term plan to explore
Mars.
Trump said, "this is an important step for US astronauts to return to the moon since 1997. This
time, we should not only set up a flag, but also leave footprints. We will also lay the foundation
for the final mission of Mars."
