Then and now: National Day holiday

Cherry 2016-10-12 09:19:09
The National Day holiday or the Golden Week, one of the country's biggest holidays of the year,
was established on Oct 1, 1999. Since then a lot has changed. In the first year, 28 million Chinese
went travelling across the nation. This year nearly 600 million took trips during the weeklong
vacation. Here we walk down memory lane and relive some of the changes during the past two
decades.
